MELECHESH Frontman To Guest On DESASTER, ENTHRONED Albums

June 4, 2007

MELECHESH frontman/guitarist Ashmedi has issued the following update:

"Been keeping busy lately... I was asked to do a guest guitar solo for Germany's DESASTER. I recorded it two weeks ago in Harrow studio (same studio as where our 'Djinn' album was recorded). It was great catching up with the DESASTER guys. Their new album will be out on Metal Blade Europe this fall. I will also be recording guest vocals for the upcoming ENTHRONED album [at the] end of June, and I look forward to it. However, before this takes place, guitarist Moloch and I will head to Jerusalem. Great place for lyrical and musical inspiration, so it's logical to take the opportunity there and write lyrics for the new ABSU album..."

A meet-and-greet with Ashmedi is scheduled at The Metal Shop in Tel Aviv on June 14 at 17:00 hrs. Upon their return to Europe, MELECHESH will start preparing for their upcoming European festival appearances.

In other news, MELECHESH has been confirmed for Waldrock festival pre-party. The pre-party will take place on the festival grounds' tent stage the night of July 6 Burgum - Friesland, The Netherlands. More information will be posted on Waldrock.nl.

Upcoming MELECHESH festival appearances:

Jul. 19-21 - Earthshaker Fest - Kreuth, Germany
Jul. 21 - Metal Mean Fest - Mean, Belgium
Aug. 17 – Party.San Open Air - Bad Berka, Germany
Aug. 24 - Hole In The Sky – Bergen, Norway
